Climbers and wall shrubs are wonderfully versatile plants that will cover freestanding structures such as walls, obelisks, arches and unsightly features you want to hide – try letting them ramble round a trellis for a head-turning feature. They vary in the amount of ground space required: some climbers require very little, some wall plants require extensive ground space.
