Position: Visual Merchandiser
Location: Ashton-Under-Lyne, Lancashire
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent

Working within the indoor and outdoor areas of our retail garden centre based at Ashton Park, Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire. As the Visual Merchandiser, you will be advising management within the centre on merchandising standards.

Specific responsibilities will include creating new displays, administering point of sale material and general signage throughout the centre.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate their understanding of retail visual merchandising, have a creative interest in display and an eye for detail.

Position: Chef - Part-Time

At Notcutts Garden Centres our restaurants are an important feature for our customers. We aim to produce tempting home cooked dishes with an emphasis on traditional British.

It is within the restaurant team at our Cambridge Garden Centre, we have a vacancy for a part-time chef. Responsibilities of this role will include producing food to the highest standard of hygiene as laid out in the Company Food Safety Policy, stock control and regular menu reviews.

You will be responsible to the Catering Manager and will ensure the kitchen runs efficiently to budget and complies with legal requirements. As the successful candidate you will be expected to hold a relevant Food Hygiene qualification and be able to demonstrate relevant experience.

We will be offering a competitive salary depending on experience, plus company pension and staff discount.

This is a part-time position working alternate weekends.

Position: Sales Assistant - Pet Department
Location: Waterville, Peterborough(PE2)
Job Type: Permanent

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to work within our Pet Department in our Garden Centre based at Peterborough.

This is a part time entry level position but some basic knowledge is required on caring for household pets and aquatic animals. Day to Day responsibilities will include: caring for animals (cleaning/feeding/grooming), maintaining stock displays, putting out merchandise and serving/assisting customers.

You should have good numerical skills and be a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.

The hours for this position are on a rota basis, including weekends, late nights and bank holidays, up to 16.5hrs per week including every Saturday (9.00am to 3.00pm) and Sunday (10.00am to 5.00pm).
